Note Names:
Standard notes: C4, D3, A5, B2, etc.
Sharps: add "s" — Cs4 (C#4), Fs3 (F#3)
Flats: add "b" — Bb3 (B♭3), Eb4 (E♭4)
Rest: use "r" — r.4 (crotchet rest), r.8 (minim rest)
Note Lengths (in semiquaver units):
1 = semiquaver (sixteenth note)
2 = quaver (eighth note)
3 = dotted quaver
4 = crotchet / quarter note (one beat)
6 = dotted crotchet
8 = minim / half note
12 = dotted minim
16 = semibreve / whole note
Any positive integer works.
